About Us

I believe happiness is the key to a great life! I am a proud wife and mother of two beautiful children. They are my life! My husband, Thomas, is a great help to the day care. I run the day care full time, and he helps part-time. My hobbies include spending time outdoors in nature, cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, and horse back riding.

It is important to me that my day care provides a wonderful atmosphere for your child. Not only is learning very important to me but also that your child has fun. Safety is important in all aspects of my day care.

We will fill the day with many exciting activities. Everything from story time, outdoor play time, learning lessons, arts and crafts, special events and so much more! We also value teaching children good morals and respect for themselves and each other. We strive to provide humble beginnings that last a lifetime.

Our preschool curriculum is through Mother Goose Time (Early Learning Experience) with a touch of my own curriculum I have created throughout the years.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at California State University, Fullerton. With over 25 years of experience with children, I have learned the importance and value of children's care. I grew up both watching and helping my Mom babysit. During my school years, I spent time tutoring elementary school children and worked closely with women and children in a domestic violence shelter helping them re-build their lives for the better in a safe environment. I am trained in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Universal Precautions. I earned an Early Childhood Professional Credential. I am a proud member of the Douglas County Child Care Association, the Colorado Association of Family Child Care, National Association of Family Child Care and Early Childhood Education Association of Colorado. We are a Let's Move Childcare and have joined other childcares to help fight in the prevention of childhood obesity. I have also had the honor to host several dessert socials at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora and throughout the year I work with our day care children in creating gift bag donations for Children's Hospital of Highlands Ranch and their other locations. The children will gather clothing, canned good and nonperishable foods to feed hungry families in Colorado.  I have taken countless hours of certified training in early childhood and I will continue to educate myself in the area of child care so I can provide the best experiences for your child.

Cleanliness is vital in our home day care. We clean daily including deep cleans each week. With the help of professional cleaning services, we do our very best to maintain a healthy clean environment for your child including but not limited too vent cleaning with sanitizers, air purifiers, maid services, pest control services, and window cleaning.

Health checks are completed upon entry to help our children stay as healthy as possible.
